SEO Mastering: AI Audit & Fix ยท Last updated: 21 July 2026
SEO Mastering: AI Audit & Fix ("the App", "we", "us") is a Shopify app that scans a merchant's store, produces an SEO audit, optimizes product and collection metadata, and drafts and publishes blog articles to the store's blog. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and the choices available to merchants.
When you install the App on your Shopify store, and while it operates, it accesses:
read_products and write_products (to read catalog data and write optimized SEO metadata to products and collections you approve), and read_content and write_content (to read existing content and create/schedule blog articles you approve).sitemap.xml, robots.txt, llms.txt, and key pages) to analyze on-page SEO signals. Optionally, if you paste a competitor or reference URL, the App fetches that public site the same way.The App does not request access to, collect, or store your customers' personal data, orders, or payment information.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it except as described below.
To generate content strategy and article drafts, the App sends the relevant portions of your site profile (product titles, collection names, page and blog metadata, and detected gaps) to a third-party AI provider for processing. Depending on the App's configuration, this provider is Google (Gemini API) and/or Anthropic (Claude API). These providers process the submitted text to return the requested output and are subject to their own privacy terms:
No customer personal data is included in these requests.
Scan results, SEO audit scores over time, content plans, drafts, publishing schedules, product-change alerts (used to flag newly added or edited products that need SEO metadata), and your session token are stored in the App's database for the purpose of operating the App. We retain this data while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, or upon a verified deletion request, the associated data is deleted (see below).
The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks:
customers/data_request and customers/redact: the App stores no customer-level data, so there is no customer information to export or redact.shop/redact (sent by Shopify ~48 hours after uninstall): on receipt, the App permanently deletes all scans, content plans, drafts, and session records associated with your store. You may also request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored in a managed database. Access tokens are used only to make authenticated calls to Shopify on your behalf and are never shared with third parties.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
